Members are assigned to cases, by the Society's clerk, Miss Trent, based upon these skills and fields of knowledge.

A few days have passed since the dramatic conclusion of The Case of The Maxwell Murder, and Christmas is just around the corner. As the Bow Street Society comes together to support one of their own, tensions run high at New Scotland Yard following Inspector Conway’s disciplinary board hearing. When Inspector Woolfe then returns to Tonbridge, Kent to finally uncover the truth of Miss Trent’s past, Inspector Lee is left to his own devices with dramatic results.

Meanwhile, a man is found brutally murdered in a warehouse at the West India Docks’ Import Dock. A plea from his uncle to find his murderer soon plunges the Bow Street Society into the secretive and shifting worlds of bareknuckle and gloved boxing. In a dramatic case that will see the Bow Street Society literally fight the Metropolitan Police, no one is who they seem, and danger lurks around every corner…

The Case of The Scream in The Smog & Other Stories is the sixth volume of shorter mysteries to feature the group, wherein they must solve peculiar problems posed by their colourful array of clients, such as: the origins of a terrifying scream in London’s dense smog, how a lightkeeper could disappear without a trace, and what Society member Mr Callahan Skinner is hiding. These are just some of the issues which must be addressed to expose the truth behind these bizarre cases.

(Bow Street Society Mystery, #6)

T.G. In this month’s blog, T.G. Campbell explores the (arguably) unlikely connection between literature and video games, and how modern indie authors are utilising unconventional platforms to connect with their peers and fans.

A The Case of the Curious Client has made it into the top 20 and next stage of BooksOffice.com's search for the next killer crime TV drama!! Words can't describe how excited I am right now.
